SUMMARY:Natural Gas for High Horsepower Summit
DESCRIPTION:Borne out of the North American shale gas revolution\, the High Horsepower (HHP) Summit presents natural gas as a solution to high horsepower equipment operators aiming to significantly reduce fuel costs\, improve environmental performance\, and comply with important air quality regulations. \nSince its inception\, the HHP Summit has served as the official meeting place of high horsepower industry stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges offered by natural gas in high-fuel use operations. Working together with our event stakeholders\, the Gladstein\, Neandross & Associates (GNA) team creates the HHP Summit program\, drawing upon insight gathered from more than 20 years of clean transportation and energy consulting experience. We’ve worked side by side with high horsepower and natural gas innovators to pioneer North America’s largest and most forward-thinking clean fuel projects. \nThe past few years have shown us that this is an idea whose time has certainly come—discussions are no longer conceptual\, and what was once theory is now becoming practice. Early adopters of natural gas technologies are realizing the tremendous synergies that exist across the marine\, rail\, mining\, drilling\, pressure pumping\, and stationary power generation sectors. By collaborating to drive infrastructure development\, technology and engine advancements\, and the creation of up-to-date regulations and policies\, all high horsepower sectors stand to benefit economically. \nWe invite you to join us in Chicago\, October 11-13\, at McCormick Place to: \n\nNetwork with more than a thousand HHP and natural gas industry stakeholders\nSee hundreds of leading natural gas engine\, fueling\, and technology solutions in the Expo Hall\nUnderstand the tangible partnerships and investments driving the industry forward.\nHear early adopter case studies from peers across all HHP sectors.\nGain a hands-on guide to natural gas project deployment in technical workshops.\n\nDownload the 2015 Event Summary to learn more about the exciting events that take place at HHP Summit. \nInterested in viewing the presentations and photos from a past HHP Summit? Visit GNA’s website\, the producers of ACT Expo\, for access to all of our events—past and future!

SUMMARY:National Drive Electric Week 2016
DESCRIPTION:National Drive Electric Week\, September 10-18\, 2016\, is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars\, trucks\, motorcycles\, and more. They are fun to drive\, are less expensive and more convenient to fuel than gasoline vehicles\, are better for the environment\, promote local jobs\, and reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Are you considering going electric? Come talk to owners who have successfully done so. \nStarted in 2011 as National Plug In Day with the simple idea to hold simultaneous events across the country on the same day\, by popular demand we have expanded to an entire week of events and changed the name to emphasize the thing we all want to do: drive electric. We expect National Drive Electric Week 2016 will again grow to include more events in more cities with more drivers reaching out to share the many advantages of driving electric with the public \nCheck the National Drive Electric Week website for events near you.

SUMMARY:Governor's Council on Climate Change - CT Climate Policy Stakeholder Event
DESCRIPTION:From the CT Roundtable on Climate & Jobs: \nHelp Shape CT’s Climate Strategy \nThe Governor’s Council on Climate Change (GC3) will hold a second round of stakeholder events on Tuesday\, July 26th\, 5:30pm-7:30pm (refreshments available at 5:00pm). RSVP here \nThe primary/central location will be in Hartford\, with 9 satellite locations across the state (from Goshen to Groton and from Norwalk to Killingly). What criteria should be used in identifying the communities/regions where we should focus limited resources in the short-term? \nPlease register online to receive detailed location information and background materials prior to the event\, and to tell us which site you plan to attend. \n \nFacebook Event: https://www.facebook.com/events/828332013977842/
