After excellent deep dive presentations on our June & July webinars – on gaseous & liquid alternative fuels, electric powered trucks, idle-reduction options and infrastructure – we’re convening a round table discussion to begin to identify priority locations and facilities for clean freight technologies.
The August 31 Clean Corridors Round Table webinar will feature discussion among expert partners (TBA soon) with key perspectives on planning and developing clean and efficient freight infrastructure.
Let’s get specific! Bring your toolbox, knowledge, and interests to the discussion. Topics will include:
1. What Northeast locations and facility types are ideal for proving the corridor-wide potential of electric, hybrid, and other alt-fuel trucks? How about for no-idle truck/locomotive/vessel docking, layovers & cargo storage?
2. What public and private partnerships could we harness or create to support projects at key locations and facilities? What funding and other resources can each bring to the table?
3. What else do we need to do to prepare for fruitful in-person discussion at the “Clean Corridor Congress #2: Filling the Infrastructure Gap” panel (and other sessions) at the NEDC Partners Meeting in Newark, September 25-26?
