Public Meetings:

While the Strategy proceeding is not a contested case, the Department is
required to hold a least one public meeting on the draft Strategy pursuant to Chapter 54 of
Connecticut General Statutes. Given the breadth of the issues contained in the draft Strategy the
Department will be holding a series of public meetings in different locations around the state to
encourage broad public participation. These meetings will satisfy the statutory public meeting
requirement. The purpose of the public meetings is to provide the public with an opportunity to
comment on the draft Strategy.
