Have you driven by the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford recently? You may have noticed that there are fourteen Tesla superchargers located by the Boston Post Road and Milford Circle entrance across from the parking garage between Sears and Macy’s department stores.
Tesla is getting ready to deliver the first 30 Tesla Model 3 on Friday, July 28th. Sixteen months ago, Elon Musk unveiled the $35,000 electric sedan. Customers flocked to stores and stood in unprecedented lines to put down $1,000 deposits illustrating a never before seen enthusiasm for a new vehicle for a relatively young automaker.
To prepare for the ever increasing number of Tesla electric vehicles on the road, more and more of their superchargers are being installed across the country. The goal is to be able to support three times the amount of Tesla vehicles currently on the road in the next couple of years.
So this is probably just the first of many more Tesla chargers to pop up in the area.
